As the sun dips below the horizon, she sits quietly, embracing the stillness of the sea and the boundless thoughts that drift with the waves. On the open water, with the wind in her hair and nothing but the sky ahead, she feels the true meaning of freedom—untethered, at peace, and fully in the moment.
Exhibition @ Geneva 2023
In my most recent international exhibition in Geneva, we explore the theme of 'Water'.
Chris Chung, born in Hong Kong, has worked as a Japanese chef and lives in Margate, a seaside town in the South-East of England where he recently opened a photography store. When he was a teenager, his father gave him a camera and he began to explore life through the camera, capturing nature, people, and events. Now a professional photographer, he captures weddings, portraits, properties, and food and engages in social photography.
Chris's humanist photography is inspired by his meeting with his Buddhist master Daisaku Ikeda and his belief in the Buddhism of Nichiren Daishonin. In this exhibition series, Chris explores the transformative power of the element Water, from drops of water to waves to waterfalls.
